COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Physical Distancing & Your Next Appointment

Our dental practice has always placed our patient's health and safety as our top priority. With the pandemic, we have implemented enhanced infection control protocols above and beyond the stringent policies, we already have in place. We have procured all the necessary protective equipment to keep all of our patients and staff safe.
We will contact you to reschedule your missed appointment, if you did not have an appointment and would like to book one, please give us a call and we will be more than happy to book you in. Before your next visit, we wanted to highlight to you some of the changes we have made to further protect your health.
Here is the list of new safety protocols we have put in place:

Patient Screening

The day before your appointment, we will call you to perform a ‘Pre-Appointment Screening’, for the purpose of determining if you have any COVID-19 symptoms before arriving at our office.

Patient Protection

At the front entrance, we will have  hand sanitizers available for your use. We kindly request all of our patients to wear a mask before entering the office. A thermal screening will be performed at the entrance of the office. After each appointment, we will clean, disinfect and sterilize the operatory, instruments and all surfaces.

Interaction Limitations

We will ask you to wait in your vehicles or outside the office until we text or call you for your appointment. At our reception desks, we’ve installed plexiglass barriers to encourage physical distancing.

Physical Distancing

In our waiting room, we’ll leave the minimum number of chairs for seating and ensure they are placed 2 metres (6 feet) apart. Our staff members will wipe down all surfaces with an approved surface cleaner as well.

Your Safety Is Our Priority

If at any time, you feel unsure of the new protocols, feel free to ask our staff about the proper procedures. We will also post signs in specific areas to help guide you through the new process.

Staff Monitoring

In addition to these new protocols, our staff will continuously self-monitor for any symptoms (fever with either cough or sore throat, or muscle aches) they may experience and will quarantine for the mandatory 14 days in the event they are ill.

As we continue to monitor the above protocols to ensure effectiveness if any of these protocols should change and in an event that we would need to reschedule your care at any time, we will contact you directly.  In the meantime, if you have an urgent need please reach out to us via phone. Our goal is to provide you with the dental care you need in a safe and comfortable environment. We hope to see you soon!
